Tacos Jose Mexican - West Richland

I really wanted to like this place more now that they said it's under new management and they claimed to have revamped the menu and the recipes, but I don't think so. It literally let us down the same way it has in the past. I've tried and tried and tried to like it here, but we just can't. The flavor is lacking. The ingredients are lacking. I always feel like I wasted money going here. I won't go again. Food: 3

Have been coming here for over a year with my mother once a week or so, dramatic drop off in quality and service, tortillas not heated and meat portion significantly smaller. Used to recommend this place to everyone now it’s hard to recommend after my most recent experience Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Update: We came here again, but the quality of the food wasn't consistent with the last time. The homemade tortillas were still good but there was only one thick chewy one instead of the two thin ones like last time. And the chorizo wasn't crispy like last time either. I also asked for spicy salsa but recieved the mild salsa. I know there are new owners, so I just wanted to update this review because consistency is what will make me want to come back. We went here for the first time after it came under new ownership. The tortillas were homemade in house right before making our tacos. The meat on our tacos was also really flavorful and crispy. The owners were there that night with the husband cooking and the wife chatting with us while we waited for our food. She gave us a free sample of one of their drinks and told us how excited they are to own the business and provide quality authentic Mexican food.
