Van's Cafe - West Reading

Do Not Recommend This Place! I know and love Vietnamese food, especially pho. This place used to be ok way back at their old location before COVID, and I've seen mixed reviews since they've relocated. Figured I'd give them a chance since we were in the area, so took my parents and kids for dinner. The service was subpar and even with a bit of attitude if I may add and we were the only customers. The pho broth was very bland, rice noodles were hard, little portion of meats were old/stale, fresh herbs were not so fresh and didn't provide all herbs usually served with pho, and small portion bowl for such high prices. The prices have almost doubled for everything and on top of the exorbitant prices, we had to pay additional charges to add tendons and tripe to their House Special Pho bowl ! which all other restaurants I've been to have everything included in their House Special Pho. Very disappointing experience overall and would not return. Do Not Recommend This Place!

Worst place ever. Will never come back . Worst Vietnamese egg rolls I’ve ever eaten. The meat in my soup was old and tasteless

I love to get phó from this place. The owner is so sweet, and she makes sure I have everything I need. The food is always fresh tasting when she makes it.

The best pho I EVER had. I legit got more to take home- def gonna come back here if I ever visit Reading’s PA again.

Standard portion size, great quality pho. Small homey type vibe inside. Worth the stop
