B2 Bistro - West Reading

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend. I wasn 't impressed. The food was so-so but it came out cold-ish. My egg order was over medium but they came out less than over easy. We sat there for almost 30 min before a server came to us and took our order, and a side order of toast was 1 piece. Diners with half the cool factor of the old building give you way more and way better food for the money. I 'd stick with one of them and save your money. Maybe they could redeem themselves for lunch or dinner, but after their dead loss of breakfast, I 'm probably not going to bother trying.

Food has always been good but the drinks are inconsistent and the bartenders do not pay attention to their customers. Our last visit, it took 5-10 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged us and there were only 8-10 people at the bar. They were not busy. And the only drink he made correct was the tap beer. Love the atmosphere but the bar service is always disappointing

My wife and I love coming to B2 Bistro. On this occasion we ordered the B2 bang bang shrimp, my wife ordered the seafood Mac n cheese, and I ordered the Cajun shrimp bowl. All of these items were new for us to try. The quality of our meal was top-notch as always. Only reason for removing a star from the food score is because of the size of my meal. For being under the “large plate” portion of the menu, the amount of food I received was slightly less than what I expected. Nothing that’ll stop us from coming back again..

It's a really neat building and location. The outside dining area is really beautiful if you're lucky enough to snag a table out there on a nice day. The food has always been pretty good. I would rank it above many other locations on Penn Ave (Say Cheese, Chatty Monks, Beer Wall, etc. But that is not to say that it doesn't come with a hefty price tag. The meals here will run you on average $20 or more. Be prepared for a hefty bill. Last time I went, I got the duck. The duck was delicious, but the asparagus side was over salted. I went with a party of 8 people and I think our bill was around $600 for apps, drinks, mains, and dessert. Service is hit or miss. I have been here at least a dozen times and sometimes its great and sometimes its a little slow. Overall, it was a very positive dinner experience every time, however. You'll need a rezzy if you are going for dinner on the weekend, otherwise be prepared to wait.Parking: Awkward lot because it's one way in and one way out of the lanes. It can be difficult to navigate when the lot is full and you have a large vehicle.

I was really excited to try this place but we left disappointed and dissatisfied. I ordered scrambled eggs and toast such a simple meal yet it came out cold. We also ordered two lattes. My latte came out steaming hot, my husbands latte came out lukewarm and they both came out at the same time. We sent my husbands back and it came back slightly warmer than the first time. Our reservation was for 11 AM yet they already ran out of plant-based milk. The husband ordered chicken and waffles, his waffles were cold and soggy, it appears, as if the waffles were simply thawed out and never actually cooked. For the price that you’re paying for food, none of that should happen,. The atmosphere is great, our waitress Erica was wonderful but the kitchen needs some work
