Very simple but charming Italian restaurant, the service was personal and impeccable, the eating was delicious especially the beet and goat cheese salad, the grilled otopus, the aubergine and ricotta appetizer, the roasted red paprika and sardelle, and not least the apfelstrudel was from this world. this was our first look at stresa and we will come back in the near future definitiw. thanks. cindy for a great service.

We waited almost two years for them to reopen, we finally returned for our anniversary and the food is still great.

Had dinner last night very roomy restaurant not busy. I was told it’s a very authentic Italian restaurant. The mussels was good but the bread was not very Italian and should have garlic toast for mussels/lemons.I got the veal saltimbocca sauce was delicious but need to give a vegetable and a starch. So I ordered a side of tomato sauce pasta it was so flavorless and acidic took one bite and right then knew I’d never come back!! If you can’t make a good basic tomato sauce . The veal was overdone and chewy on a bed of spinach which I liked. I’m I was hoping it would be good but staff is very friendly
