The Mill - West Oxfordshire

We stayed at this hotel for one night. After booking and paying, we received an email stating that there was a £10 charge to use the hotel car park. This information was not mentioned when it said parking was available at the hotel. We would not have chosen to stay here if we had known about this charge beforehand. The staff was lovely and the accommodation was okay. The restaurant was good and the staff there were very helpful. However, we would not choose to stay here again in the future.

The sign indicates that this is a hotel and restaurant, but upon arriving, we found the gates locked and the place deserted. It seems that it is closed permanently. The property looks stunning from the outside.

The hotel is still standing and remains visually appealing, however, they are currently only offering room accommodations with no restaurant services available.

We stopped here for cappuccinos mid morning. Although the coffe was expensive at £3.50, it did come with a homemade chocolate biscuit . The young Czech waitress was lovely friendly, welcoming and fun. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!

We were staying else where at The Wild Rabbit but on route back from The Cotswold Wildlife park stopped here for a late lunch as I think they were probably the only people still serving lunch! Lovely staff, great steak sandwich and they have a lovely outside area on lovely grounds!
