Panera Bread - West Orange

I visited this restaurant for the first time while visiting my son, and I have to say, it provided the best customer service experience I’ve ever had in North Jersey. You might expect some typical Jersey brashness, but the young ladies who assisted me, Hope and Donna, were very pleasant and eager to help. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Panera provides truly transformative experiences. Once, I ordered an apple salad and discovered there were no apples in it. This made me reflect on how an apple salad could lack apples. It dawned on me that Panera was trying to convey a lesson: things are not always what they appear to be, and it's essential to expect the unexpected. Later, I ordered a four-cheese grilled cheese sandwich, but I could sense another hidden message. While most places offer a single-cheese grilled cheese, Panera was subtly indicating that they provide over four times the offering of food compared to typical restaurants.

This is my favorite Panera, along with the one in Edison, NJ. The staff are always friendly and accommodating if you have any issues with your food, and the portion sizes are satisfactory. I’ve visited many other Panera locations in different states, but the ones in New Jersey, especially the West Orange location, stand out as really good. I appreciate that they offer Wi-Fi, a fireplace, and comfortable seating. My egg white breakfast sandwich on a bagel was fantastic!

This is for the West Orange location. Great staff and service. I always get my all time favorite salad to go. Decided to dine-in. This is their fuji apple salad with chicken (whole, not half) and a side of baguette. The meal was absolutely beautifuland perfect. It was a gorgeous day and this made it even better. PAUSE. Sadly, had a disappointing find in my salad. For whatlooked like molded greens. Management was very courteous and tried to right the wrong. I was more bummed about not finishing thesalad. Took a couple of days off from my fave. I'll be back..TBD

During my visit, I'll get a good customer service. this is actually my second time when I visited this Panera site and asked for a Vegan option. a worker suggests a custom sandwich order consisting of avocado, gurken, greens and wobble. the sandwich comes with a surprise, a random hauch of jam, which offers a sweet taste, which I appreciate in the sandwich and that I actually want more with every passing bite without it. the chips are delicious, light enough to eat a bag or two.
