The 5 stars are not for high falutin atmosphere (what is OK). They're for food. This restaurant has authentic Peruvian dishes (according to my friend from Peru) served family style. And on a Sunday afternoon the dining room was filled with families. We had the Rotisserie chicken. It was one of the most delicious chickens I ever had wet and juicy! The salad had a simple but tasteful, dressing including lemon juice. Delicious fridules, bean soup and crispy pommes were also on our table and tongues. The meal was filled with delicious flan. All parts were generous. Maybe. I see you there because I definitely want to return.
You have the best chicken and the best green hot sauce HANDS DOWN! Your chaufa is also very good and I often do this place a lot. The service is slow and sometimes terrible, but I'm just for food, really. The only thing is that this place seems to rip you off with their prices for their hot sauce when you order. Usually an 8 oz container is 5$ and I think they were earlier 3$. But if you eat in then it will be free and unlimited. If I could just find out her recipe, I wouldn't have to spend so much on her delicious hot sauce!
One of the best places to taste alone in this area! There are many Peruvian restaurants nearby, but all my family and family friends (all Peruvians born in Peru) come here because the taste is closest to what you would get in Peru! Miriam is a hard-working woman and a great hostess!
Food was served fast good portions for price. Only lack is the staff, 1 server for almost 20 tables. Was lucky place was near to empty. Had to take food home due to size of portion.
