Contribuiți la feedbackWow! I used to think Chuck Wagon had great food, but what happened? We ordered two homemade meat-lamella dinners today, and all I can say is it was terrible! It was barely fit for human consumption! The meat tasted old, and I couldn't even tell if it was really meat or just bread crumbs. The sauce looked like lumpy white paste and had no flavor at all—neither gravied nor chicken-flavored. I'm honestly not sure what it was. The green beans had a strange, chemical taste; how is that even possible? The potatoes weren't homemade either. This was by far the worst meal we've ever ordered for takeout! It was supposedly one of their specialty dishes at $9.75 each, but we both couldn't eat it. It went straight to the dogs, and I'm not sure even they would want it. What a disappointment!
I absolutely adore Gary's Chuckwagon. The home-cooked dinner specialties and the menu feel like something straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting. It's a slice of Americana that's fading fast in today's world of homogenized restaurant chains. The friendly staff greets you by name or affectionately calls you "honey." Their freshly baked pastries are to die for, especially the apple cake—it's a true American classic. This place is a must-visit!
This restaurant has amazing food, and Gary is fantastic. You should definitely come here!
