Merdo's Fish - West Lothian

Ordered a meal at 8.20 tonight a special fish n chips kebab meat nearlly a hour later had to phone to c where meal was got told on the way 10 mins later phoned again The meal finally arrived the fish was over cooked n brick hard the chips n kebab meat **** waste of £14.80 as it went right in the bin WILL NEVER USE THIS CHIPPIE AGAIN N I WORK IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY n get asked to recommened take aways WILL NEVER RECOMMENED THIS ONE

The large, thick, and fresh haddock was cooked perfectly in crispy golden batter by a skilled chef. The juicy donner meat was piled high on a soft warm pita, accompanied by a fresh side salad and complementary dips that enhanced the kebab without being too spicy. The chef clearly goes above and beyond to ensure your meal is just the way you like it, all with a welcoming smile. I will certainly be returning to this restaurant.

We ordered food for delivery on May 25th around 7pm and were surprised at how quickly it arrived, in just 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the food was cold, with some dishes only lukewarm. We will not be recommending this restaurant to friends, family, or anyone else for that matter. We will actively discourage anyone we know from using this place. We had to reheat the food in the microwave since we didn't have time to complain and wait for a replacement. This was a bad experience that we will not be repeating. I received a sausage that was covered in salt and sauce and wrapped in what seemed to be toilet paper. I couldn't peel the paper off and when I called to complain, I was told I could get a replacement if I called back another day. When I did, I was told I would have to pay delivery fees again, which I found ridiculous since I had already paid for the first unsatisfactory sausage. Do not order from this place - the standards are poor and they do not provide any compensation. Avoid this place at all costs. It seems to be cheap and sells low-quality food for high prices, and can't even get that right. I used to go to Jambos in chippys for years, but it seems like the chip shop worker's place in Dean's did not last. The place seems run-down and changes its name frequently to try to hide its poor quality.

Now called mama mia. This is by far the best take away restaurant in West Lothian. I have had pizza's all over the country and mama mia pizza's are the best country closest thing to a home made pizza in the outdoor oven
