The White Heather - West Lindsey

I booked the Bollinger Suite for a Friday night. Upon arrival, I found that the carpet in the entire suite was wet and slippery, which I was told was due to it being recently shampooed. The phone in the suite did not work, so I had to contact the staff via Facebook. Eventually, someone arrived with an electrician to address the issue, but there were no apologies made. The staff member mentioned speaking to the owner, Jonathan, who seemed indifferent to our situation. The safe box we were looking for was found in an unlocked cabinet filled with trash. We were asked to leave the room so it could be secured, even though we had already spent hours there. Despite being refunded, we were charged for the meal we had ordered. The treatment we received was absolutely appalling. Additionally, there was an unlocked shed filled with trash right outside our suite. Is this really worth the value they claimed the suite had?

We often dine at White Heather and tonight they have a special festive menu featuring a festive pizza and a festive Yorkshire pudding wrap, both were absolutely fantastic.

We had our second Sunday lunch at this restaurant and it was amazing! The food was beautifully cooked and there was so much to eat that we all had plenty and even took extra portions for tomorrow. Great value for money with an excellent price-performance ratio.

We were guests at a high time. great place for a high time. everything went perfect. many nice touches.

A lovely setting for a wedding. All areas could do with updating, starting to look worn. Shower didn’t work in one of the guest rooms and most of the window blinds needed attention. All the planters on the balcony of the bridal apartment contained dead...plants which on a beautiful weekend in spring could have looked so lovely. Food was lovely but served by a number of worryingly very young staff. Stairs to apartment difficult to negotiate. With some updating could be a stunning venue.
