Cherry Tree Inn - West Lindsey

I just enjoyed a Sunday carvery and it was fantastic. Everything was perfect and I have no complaints. Now I am eagerly anticipating the apple pie and ice cream.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the pub had a cozy feel. Unfortunately, the roast meal was disappointing. The roast potatoes seemed to be pre-made and not homemade, possibly from a catering company like Brake Bros or 3663. The vegetables were served cold. I didn't want to give a negative review, considering the struggles that local pubs are facing, but I have to be honest about my experience.

Cherrytree has new management so we decided to try their Sunday lunch carvery. The food was excellent, with generous portions of beef or pork, a variety of vegetables, delicious mashed potatoes, stuffing, and roast parsnips. We will definitely be returning.

We found out the landlady of the cherry tree inn at Willingham wouldn't mind if we parked our motorhome in the pubs large car park and only 3 miles on the local bus to Lincoln Christmas market. We spent 3 nights there and enjoyed drinks in the bar where the locals made us very welcome. On the Friday morning Angela (who works behind the bar her husband Steve very kindly offered to give us a lift in his car to Lincoln . Everyone was so freindly. We booked in for Sunday lunch where we met landlady Kay who had also cooked the food, and it was excellent, the meat was so tasty and tender. The pub itself is immaculately clean and inviting, we are already planning our next trip.

Went for Sunday carvery with 3 friends. The meat was succulent and plentiful. A large selection of veg to suit everyone. The staff very welcoming. Excellent value for money. We will be back again very soon
