Contribuiți la feedbackI used to love Zacs before it changed ownership and the new owners completely ruined it. With some hesitation, I decided to try Aura, wondering if it was the same owners trying to start fresh with a new name or if it was truly new ownership. Luckily, it is under new ownership, just a month in. I was a big fan of the original Zacs, so I was pleased to see that Aura has kept the authentic Greek cuisine while also adding in some Middle Eastern options to the menu. My partner and I tried the authentic dishes first to gauge the quality, and we were impressed. The moussaka and lamb souvlaki were both fantastic. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and the wait staff had great personalities. The prices were reasonable, with some good specials on offer. I encourage all those who loved the old Zacs to give Aura a try - the food is really good and the new owners deserve our support! (For transparency, I have no affiliations with the restaurant, I am just a local who enjoys good food and service.)
My family and I have visited Zac's restaurant multiple times for a quick dinner on beautiful summer evenings. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. We usually order the seafood platter to share, which provides a generous portion for both of us. It's peaceful to dine outside by the lake, enjoying the sunset and the changing colors of the sky. I recommend giving Zac's a try for a relaxed meal with loved ones if you live nearby.
The new owners are excelling at providing fantastic food with very friendly staff at Zaks. The restaurant now offers a great view of the lake and a wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.
Went to Zak's last night for dinner. Ordered the meat and seafood combo for 2. Meat was cooked to our request and seafood was delightful. Chips were golden and crunchy and the salad was dressed well. Really couldn't fault anything. Also the water was filtered (no gross table water). Staff were friendly and provided good service. George Thomolaris
Came here on a weekday for lunch with the family. it wasn't too busy, but still got a few tables occupied, therefore, we still manage to get the outside seatings. (is outdoor, but covered, love it cause wants the breeze but bear can't stand with the reflection from the water). 3 of us ordered seafood plates for 2, and a side salad and, of course, two gelatos at the end to finish. (just disappointed that they didn't put effort in the dessert serving....only one scoop each in a bowl, but well, it tastes good).
