Lion's Den - West Islip

I have been a patron of this establishment since it was known as the Lion's Den. However, my recent visits have left me disappointed with the quality of the food. There has been no change in ownership, but there may have been changes in the kitchen staff. The nachos I had last night seemed to have cooled off before reaching my table, and the onion rings were thin and soggy. Overall, I would rate the food as a 3, the service as a 4, and the atmosphere as a 4.

I really like this restaurant and will continue to go, but they should work on improving the quality of their food. I recommend the owners to communicate with the kitchen and cooks to make necessary changes. For example, the Turkey club sandwich was not what I expected and did not taste great. Overall, the food is just okay, and I have heard similar feedback from others as well. If they can fix this issue, it will greatly impact their business.
