Riptide Restaurant Bar - West Haven

Instead of having my usual tasty chicken sandwich, I decided to try the chicken parmesan dinner and it was absolutely fantastic!

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! stop their Google search for the best lobster roll, lobster bisque, clam chowder ek. because you found it! you're lucky! with distance the best! and great service!

And authentic neighborhood restaurant where some of the people have been coming here for years and are on first name basis with the staff and owner. Even if you’re not, it’s a friendly place. Good selection of beer, seafood, and dinner or lunch entrées. Pleasant service, outdoor dining in season. Right next to the beach. Hard to go wrong

When i tell you this place is AMAZING…. BRUH!Me and my fiancé recently moved to westhaven and was searching for a restaurant that we loved. Well we found it! The menu had a lot of variety, theres something for everyone here! The specials is where they at! We were told the specials and man when i tell you…. i wanted it all! I ordered a french onion and my fiancé ordered a lobster bisque with a buffalo chicken dip to start… (yes its alot, we had a long day).For diner i had the lasagna Bolognese and my fiance the pasta seafood combo. When i say this was the best thing ive ever had i aint joken. The drinks were perfect as well.BUT THE BEST OF ALL! Was the staff and owner. The waitress (wish i caught her name) was so sweet. It was such a pleasure having her help us out. She knew every special and was so attentive, and was a genuine soul. I would just go back for her, felt like i knew her for years. AND THE OWNER/CHIEF CAN COOOK! We had the pleasure to talk to him and you can tell he love what he does. The way her talked about cooking was really heart warming. I am so happy we went to Riptide, we will be back.Thank you guys for such an amazing experience!
