Birdcode Hot Chicken - West Hartford

Wow, that chicken is incredibly addictive! The comeback sauce and the variety of soda options are top-notch.

I requested mild spice, but when I got home, the food was so spicy and hot that I couldn't eat it.

Wow, I've been here a few times now. Everything about this place was impressive. The chicken is always perfectly crispy and juicy. Their seasoning is great! We've tried the tenders and sandwiches as far as chicken goes. Their spice levels are pretty good. Their Mac and cheese is spot on and their shake fries are a great compliment. They have Hosmer Mountain Soda which is the most underrated soda in the state. I rarely ever drink soda anymore but Hosmer is worth having. The banana pudding is also a great way to end the meal.Parking: Limited spots, there are also free spots on the street to utilize though.

BIRDCODE IS DELICIOUS. I’m not exaggerating I paid around 13 dollars for The Sando meal which came with a good amount of fries the chicken sandwich and a drink. The meal is extremely worth it because in their chicken sandwiches there is a hefty amount of chicken in it. They don’t sell you short.The cool thing is their fountain machine is used with a local fountain drink brand in CT, which adds to the quality. I’d recommend Birdcode to people for a filling lunch or dinner.

I've been ordering from BIRDCODE for a long time, and have been genuinely happy for probably 30+ orders. However, the last 3 orders have come without utensils via Uber Eats, even though I ask for them, so I can't actually eat the meal! The Mac Cheese, despite being $6, is only filled up halfway in the cup when it used to be almost overflowing. Things are unfortunately heading a little downhill which is a damn shame because I loved this place. I hope it gets better!
