St Leon Tavern - WEST HARRISON

Wanted to try their fried chicken. Went on Saturday night which was probably a mistake. First had difficulty finding the entrance. Once inside we were assaulted by the noise factor. At least 60 little ones running around and blaring music. We had to sit at the bar as no seats or tables were available. We finally ordered drinks but ultimately left as the atmosphere was just not enjoyable. We really wanted to try the chicken but, unfortunately, won’t go back. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. A little too much.

Food was good chicken was excellent mashed potatoes were very good the coleslaw was also very good ?

We'll I have heard amazing things about this place and then my a friend says there is this place I have to go to. I here fried chicken is the rave so when in Rome. The atmosphere is rustic and clean. Looks very home town. Prices look good, from what I saw the sizes look good too. So, I ordered a breast and a thigh and 2 sides for $10.99. Actually I substituted a small salad for a slight up charged that seem full of stuff. Everyone running around is helpful and pleasant so service gets a 5. Atmosphere for the situation and a chicken joint gets a 5 since I feel like I'm at grandma's house. Lastly, taste and that gets a 5. What a nice surprise. It was a 35 minute drive for me but we'll worth it. I will be back for sure. Forget to take pics of food ugh.

Was a very cute place to eat. Their fried chicken was very good. Daughter loved their mash potatoes. Food was very good.A throw back in time

Great food with kid friendly atmosphere our family has ate there many times and have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered the staff is very friendly and helpful always has some specials going on love the place
