Speedway Event Center - West Fargo

We had tickets for a local fund-raiser, and we were looking forward to the event. The night before it, we got an email saying the event had been moved from the event center to the restaurant. Someone apparently double-booked.With all the raffle and bid items on tables, it was a bit crowded. When the meal was put on the catering table, it was mass confusion. The line stretched around and back and forth, so it was nearly impossible to determine the end of the line. When we walked by it, I heard a server ask someone if they wanted ribs or chicken. Great, we could try one of each, I thought.When we finally got to the serving line, only ribs remained. They appeared to have been boiling (not smoked or baked) for hours. Typically fall off the bone ribs are pretty good, but the meat had no flavor, and barely any texture.The mashed potatoes were next to awful. Green beans were also overcooked. No desert, which is probably ok, since my expectations were pretty low by that point, anyhow.Would I go back to try a non-event meal? Probably not.

Worst service and food anywhere buffet with no gravy for mashed potatoes no butter for rolls no salt and pepper on table water glasses no water charged for water at bar for a small solo cup .3 people working for almost 200 customers packed in maybe a fire code problem. we had to clear are tables

Went here for a murder mystery dinner. The event itself was fun but the venue not great. For $50 we got messy bathrooms, bone flakes in our rib meat, a salt and pepper shaker full of water, slow bartending lines and slow service in general.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside we were greeted by a very friendly waitress. We started with a blooming onion and it was fabulous then we ordered and the food was some of the best I've had in Fargo I recommend the deep fried ribs and let me tell you they melt in your mouth almost! Family friendly and nice atmosphere!! I'd definitely recommend!!!

We went for simple, tasty food served by wait staff at a table. I was exactly that. Simple and tasty. Super nice staff all around. And it was very reasonably priced especially right now. Yay!
