Despite a short wait, we were able to snag a table. The coffee was excellent, and we enjoyed a generous portion of Dorset Apple Cake. While it may not have been the absolute best DAC we've ever had, it was still quite tasty and the portion size was more than enough for two people.
Good eating easy, to point and exact! really great cakes and pasties with many veggie and vegan options. I tried the Cauliflower-Chickpea and bahji pastie and it was delicious, especially paired with the chutney. service was also great and the man who served our food recommended various vegan options for us. cheaper than her average sitting in caffe in lyme.
A beautiful caffe with many vegan options. they had 3 vegan pasties, a vegan cake and at least 3 vegan cakes. I had a butternut quash vegan cheese pasty with salat, and a peanut chocolate brownie (which I think is one of the best brownies I ever had). there are about five tables and we could get one. the staff was really friendly, helpful and polite, really went the extra mile. they remembered that I would be asked about the vegan pasties, making sure all vegan cakes when it came to dessert. I couldn't owe it. will definitely return!
We were late in the day so that only one take away, but were impressed by the series of vegan pasties. the options were clearly marked and the staff was helpful. I tried a pasty and a folding jacket and both were good.
I haven't had a cornish 'style' for years, and just bought one on the Abchance suffice to say it was fantastic. it was also chased by a folding jacket that didn't last very long.
