Chatty and busy landlady doing her best. Atmosphere improved as more people arrived but very quiet at start. Menu disappointing (website and blackboards misleading) as was food.

We stayed in our campervan in the car park overnight as Britstop members and decided to stop into the pub for a meal. This was the best vegetarian food I have had at any pub. The owners were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening and we will definitely be visiting again. It put a smile on both mine and my husband's face.

This establishment offers tasty food at an affordable price. You can dine indoors or outdoors regardless of the weather. The staff is friendly and there is a generous amount of food for the price. Definitely recommend checking it out for lunch.

I had a fantastic Sunday roast at this restaurant today, June 18th, 2023, with some friends. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area. The beef was delicious, there were plenty of vegetables, the service was excellent, and they have a beautiful garden in the back.

Excellent tapas selection the mackerel pate was perfect and my wife had the BBQ pulled pork. The cider was also tasty. Will definitely come again.
