Costa Coffee - West Dorset

I ordered a takeaway salted caramel frappe. The person making my drink seemed stressed as she was training a new staff member. When I got back to my car to drink it, I noticed it didn't taste the same. It was then that I realized she had forgotten to add the caramel sauce. It was too far to walk back, so I ended up throwing it away. It's a shame because I have never had an issue before.

Located on Corn Hill, which is a fully pedestrian street in Dorchester, this Costa is situated directly across from the large Boots chemist store. Despite the appearance of limited seating from the front, there is actually a significant amount of seating past the counter, including a spacious and calm upstairs area. The toilets are clean as well. I would definitely return to this Costa in the future.

What happened to the pastries at this restaurant? I hope they're not all from the same supplier. I paid £2.40 for an overcooked pain au chocolat. And the chocolate twists? They were terrible! They used to be a nice treat, but now it feels like we're being ripped off for low quality, overcooked pastries. Only fools would pay those prices. Greggs offers larger and better pastries at a much lower price. Stick to getting your coffee here, but avoid the pastries.

Nice Costa which has recently been updated. It does always seem short staffed though which can make it a tricky task for the baristas.
