Amid Giants Idols - West Dorset

Stopped here for a coffee. Lovely quirky coffee shop with great seating and decor. Service was really friendly with the chap chatting to us. He even showed us how to create the clever patterns on top of the coffee as we were interested. Not that I could manage to do it!! And very nice coffee!

Our family’s favorite stop for excellent coffee with cake or lunch. Highly recommended. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and if you have a dog he/she is most welcome to join You.

We were welcomed with great food and amazing coffee. We completely overstayed and took up so much of the owners time we left feeling we had made a new friend. Sweetcorn fritters were sublime and we now need to have jalapeños in cheese scones, who knew? We even got top tips on baking, pasties and marmalade. If you are going to have foodie chat with someone make sure it's with a passionate foodie which this man most definitely is. Amazing place, amazing vibe, we'll be back.

Thought i had reviewed this when i went last year, but cant find it, planning a return this year, and memories of the coffee I had and also purchased to take home still linger. The food also i remember being amazing and i intend to return. Still look at many food photos i took lol.
