Firebirds Wood Fired Grill West Des Moines

Just had New Year's Eve dinner. Service was excellent, food great, noisy fun holiday night.

I had the hot honey chicken sandwich with a side of broccoli. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was juicy and cooked well, bacon was crisp and sauces were so good. The broccoli was okay there were some pieces that were not fully cooked but taste was not bad. The cheesecake was heaven on a plate. Best cheesecake I have had so far in a restaurant setting. Overall would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite !

I wish I could have given 5 stars and if I lived in the area, I would definitely eat here again, but... I ordered a steak medium rare but it came to the table WELL done. They offered me to make another, even offered to make one for me to go. I declined but they really tried to make it right. I opted for a second spiced old fashioned (delicious), which was on the house. Our drinks were great the appetizer was delicious and my wife enjoyed her chicken. The service was top notch...
