Salo Salo Grill - West Covina

Tried the Family Mix bbq platter and it was good. The plate was about $50 and came with various types of spits and bbq meat, some better than others. The dessert was also good (forgot the name, but it came with taro ice and fried bananas). The biggest bottom of the experience was a kitchen worker who screams obscenes in Spanish and bubble music from the kitchen. I hope they checked him, otherwise I would recommend this place.

I ordered food from the last new year its terrible Kari Kare it is horrible look and taste iits so expensive it crispy pata is too small lumping Shanghai not meet anything but rapper I was was wasting my money everything is disgusting. I did not recommend buying or ordering it there again.

It has improved. I'm not sure if there are new owners or what, but the last time I visited, the service was almost non-existent. Our order was even messed up. The food was also served cold.

Good, gracious food in the restaurant is best nearby. I feel like any choice you make is not just a good one but a great one. I feel bad for poor servers and employees. They do not seem to be supported and stretched at times, especially in obvious peak times. I support you, although they are only prayers.

This restaurant is really great. I have only been here for lunch, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is relaxed, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The only issue I had was with the waitress during my last visit - she seemed annoyed and rushed when taking our order and bringing the check. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was just having a rough day. Overall, the experience was okay, but the food was excellent!
