Pondahan - West Covina

On Saturday night, my wife and I were craving a delicious meal of her native Filipino cuisine. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the food did not meet our expectations. The chicken soup was particularly disappointing, as it tasted anything but fresh. We should have probably stuck to the daily special instead. Overall, we were unsatisfied with the taste of the food, which seemed like a different version of what we were accustomed to. The service was fine, but spending fifty dollars for two people and leaving the restaurant feeling unsatisfied was not the experience we had hoped for.

This is definitely a family-friendly restaurant. The portions are meant for sharing and are very generous. Most dishes can easily feed 3-4 people, but they also offer family platters. My family and I frequent this restaurant often and always have a great time. If you're a fan of Filipino cuisine, this is the perfect spot for you.

Delicious food and awesome service. I have been blessed to frequent this restaurant with my in laws after Sunday mass. Makes for a great lunch spot and the food is always out in minutes. Top notch service. I love this place. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very family oriented.

We were disappointed with our recent visit to Pondahan Restaurant. We have been loyal customers for years, but this time the experience was not the same. The food quality and portion size had declined, and the service was lacking. Our server seemed uninterested and took a long time to take our order. The high prices and mandatory gratuity added to our disappointment. Overall, our expectations for the restaurant have decreased, and we will be exploring other dining options in the future. Our visit was on 10/06/19 between 4:30 to 6:30pm.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. I went with my Filipino friend who insisted that the place was very authentic, so it must be true. Overall, the experience was very good.
