Mr Pollo - West Covina

Generous and delicious portions! The flavors are abundant, and the pricing is quite reasonable given the large servings. The service is friendly and attentive.

This is a fantastic little Peruvian restaurant located in West Covina. Everything here is amazing, but the chicken, rice, and green salsa really stand out. On this visit, we tried the Tallarin Verde with pollo and the Lomo Saltado with bistec, and both were incredible. They even gave us extra green salsa to take home, which was a wonderful bonus. While they are currently take-out only, ordering by phone made the process easy and quick, so we didn’t have to wait around in the small shop for our food.

If you haven't dined at Mr. Chicken, as I like to call it, you really haven't experienced Peruvian cuisine. My favorite dish is the Lomo Saltado, and the chicken is fantastic! There are so many dishes worth trying that I recommend sampling them all. It can get quite busy, so I suggest calling in your order and picking it up to go. The restaurant is small with limited seating. And I can't forget to mention the salsa they provide – it's absolutely amazing!

I forgot how tasty Mr Pollo's food was. Their roasted chicken and traditional Peruvian plates are worth stopping by for.

Incredible.........this restaurant doesn't have a customer restroom. Food flavor is ok, the dining room too small. Not coming back. Order to go will be better.
