Contribuiți la feedbackThe service was superb! Whereas the food was okay but not like what we recalled before COVID-19. More specifically, the meat on our salads appeared to have been prepared then finished been cooked vs fresh and piping hot. We tipped extra for the great service and ordered the gumbo and jambalaya to take home.
Good food and friendly staff. Complimentary biscuits with spread is tasty. You can’t go wrong with there selection of smoked meats. The salmon with vegetables was pretty good also. Drinks are ok, little watered down but not too bad.
I was looking to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary with a great lunch, but was mildly disappointed. My meal was 3/4 rack of baby back ribs with 2 sides. Grade and comments below: Ribs A very good, tender and tasty Hatch Chile grits C very good flavor, but too stiff, like eating wet cake (this was an up charge side) Potato salad C under seasoned, too smooth, like mustardy mashed potatoes Onion straws B appetizer, good flavor My vote for the best table BBQ sauce is the Memphis style, great flavor, no heat Recommended, with reservation about some dishes
Pulled pork sandwiches were worth happy hour price w/side. $10. Add your own sauces. I thought the fried pickles would be sliced battered. Fried batter fell right off.
The food was good and very flavorful. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. The 1/4 chicken was excellent. However, the baby back ribs were a bit dry and tough. The biscuits, which, are normally a little warm we’re extremely hard. We brought this to our server’s (Norma), attention and she immediately brought us fresh biscuits. A big part of one’s dining experience is the customer service aspect. I’d like to recognize Norma for her attentiveness and genuine interest in making our dining experience an enjoyable one. I’d ask that should be recognized by management in some fashion for her work.
