Wawa - West Chester

I love this wawa. They care so much about customer service and I'm always asking for special requests. Thank you guys for working so hard! This wawa has also been around forever and they have the best lattes!!

I absolutely love WaWa! Unfortunately, we don’t have any in Indianapolis (boo!), so whenever I visit family in Pennsylvania, it’s a must for me to get my fix. I also make sure to bring back some coffee and Tastykakes. Today, I tried the corn chowder soup and the brisket sandwich, and both were delicious! #yum #ReviewsByRL.

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet! I live nearby and frequently pass by this Wawa on my way home. No matter what time—day or night—I have been there at all hours (probably more times than I can count), the staff is incredibly friendly. Plus, the place is always spotless!

I truly love Wawa, but I have to express my frustration. More often than not, the Wawa in West Chester, particularly the one on Greenhill Rd, consistently gets my sandwich order wrong. I just visited the Wawa on Boot Rd this evening, and it wasn't busy at all. There was only one other customer waiting for a sandwich after me. I specifically asked for no tomatoes, as I am allergic to them. When I got home, ready to enjoy my meal, I found tomatoes on my sandwich. I get it if it's during a busy rush with dozens of orders, but this was not one of those times. It’s really frustrating to have a food allergy and realize that my instructions aren’t being followed, even when things are slow. While I won't stop going to Wawa, it's disappointing that this has become a regular occurrence.

I love Wawa, but it seems to have lost some of its charm in recent years. They offer many ingredients I personally enjoy, but I often find that they don't have the food I’m craving. The staff tends to be slower than I’d like, and it feels like they’re not really invested in their work, and this has been the case even before COVID and the staffing issues that followed. I usually try to steer clear of this kind of experience, but unfortunately, the atmosphere at Wawa locations isn’t much better—just enough to keep me going back. If you’re planning to introduce someone to Wawa, I wouldn’t recommend it as their first stop.
