The Starting Gate - West Berkshire

Popped in for a drink with a family member and fancied a burgerone of the best burgers i have had in a long time.also i have been to many private function there in the last and on customer service and treatment better with the new owners

We ended up in the Starting Gate by chance as our car broke down and we got taken there while we waited for recovery and we ended up spending hours there while we waited! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and hospitable. We were there with our daughter and everyone looked after us and made us feel so welcome. Great gin selection too!

I recently stopped by for a drink with a family member and decided to try one of their burgers. It was hands down one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I have also attended several private functions at this restaurant in the past 6 months and I have to give them a 10/10 for their customer service and the way they treat their guests. The new owners have definitely improved the overall experience by 100%.

Amazing staff an food was amazing couldn't fault it 1 bit and very well priced for what you have I would def recommend this place 100 percent

Excellent service .....great lunch but pity full Sunday Menu was not available due to a shortage of staff .....our host went out of her way to please us and will go again and again
