The Castle At Donnington

Poor girl waiting on everyone, way too much for one person chips probably from Lidl and over cooked, meat dry, pitra bread probably from lidles taaskikk easy to make

Been visiting the area and was luckily recommended The Castle by our hotel. We were greeted by the manager and he kindly gave us directions to the physical castle (which we were going to after our drink). What was originally planned just to come for drinks but decided to stay for lunch, our sever Ben couldn’t have been more accommodating considering our son is gluten free. The food was delicious and had much more to it than you would expect in a rural country pub. The manager and his team really made us feel welcome, we definitely plan on coming back again for dinner before while we are up here !

Popped in for dinner with the girls before the theatre, what a warm welcome from Holly and Jon! These two make the place! Dinner was beautiful, the fish pie was the best I have ever tasted! All the girls enjoyed their meals, reasonable pricing, great atmosphere! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much again!

I went to this restaurant for lunch with some friends from work and tried the vegan burger. Usually, pubs offer a fake beef burger, which is okay, but can get a bit boring. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan chick'n burger on the menu. It reminded me of the KFC vegan burger. It was really delicious, and the chips were crispy and tasty as well. The pub also has a cute dog. I will definitely be returning!
