Contribuiți la feedbackI booked The Bull for a family reunion, 19 adults and 3 small children, and Jodi and her team made the whole experience go effortlessly. We had absolutely no issues, no stress, and was given the whole upstairs to ourselves allowing us to mingle and socialise without worrying about annoying other clientele. Staff were helpful, efficient, and really pleasant. The food came out hot and cooked perfectly, literally everyone enjoyed- including our picky younger eaters who finished it all! Would not hesitate at all to recommend or come back again.
Lovely food at lunchtime , but please get the place up to a decent temperature before opening to customers at midday . So cold in the pub at 12.00 !! Spoilt a decent meal
Stopped for an early lunch. Zero alcohol Becks and cider. well prepared cod and chips and my partner had Mushrooms on toast no complaints.
Came for the 3 for 20 with a couple of friends. Lovely meal and tasty as always. Have done the 3 for 20 lots of times and have never been disappointed. Would 100% recommend.
We booked a table at The Bladebone and on arrival it was closed for refurb work. On booking no one bothered to tell us all meals are being served at the sister restaurant The Bull. Luckily I called The Bull to ask what was going on as our booking had been taken the week before and was told to drive over and we should have been informed. On arrival we were given a table in the gazebo that’s attached to the pub. It was so cold in there even with heaters so we asked to be moved. We were then seated in the bar area with the workmen who had stopped off for a drink. Not the meal out we were hoping for. As the bar area is away from the restaurant area we were forgotten about. The food when it came was ok but the service was so poor. It made for an inexpensive night as we only had 1 drink on arrival, the waitress didn’t come to offer any refills so we paid the bill and left. Such a shame as we are supporters of The Bladebone and The Bull but might take a break for a while until they get their act together.
