Rio's Take Out, Newbury

Newbury bloke through and through, Rio’s was always the best burger joint in town however went through some dodgy times.fancied a burger yesterday (Saturday 9th) . Got there just after opening time and had a double burger with my choice of toppings. I must say that I haven’t had a burger that good in ages, 10 minutes wait but well worth it. It was hot/cooked perfectly and plenty of the onions/gurkins/cheese I asked for. Maccy D’S, BK, ain’t got a scratch on it. Bit out of the way but beats the drive throughs if you want a good burger.

For a burger bar I was very disappointed with the patty itself, the shop is lovely inside and out but the burger meat was very substandard. For the price you pay you can get the same burger at the kebab shops round the corner for half the price.

This place is so good. A friend had never heard or Rios, so we drove a 1.5 hour round trip so that he could experience how great they are. The staff are all terrific. Really excellent service that matches the laste and menu choices. So good, it's worth a 1.5 hour round trip!

Rio’s is without doubt the best burger you can get in Newbury or surrounding areas! Having been closed for a while, I was sceptical about a new owner and whether the quality would be the same but, to my surprise, it was even better! You could tell the burgers are high quality, cooked perfectly and accompanied by fresh ingredients. The order was even bought out to my car whilst I was waiting. The only thing that I had to go back in for were napkins, as is the case with any good burger, it can get messy!! Overall it offers really good value for money and I’ll definitely be back!

Great food! Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and a really good price! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys burgers and fries
