West Bend Lakes Golf

I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 if I could. It's a lovely place for the public, with well-maintained fairways and greens. The name is a bit misleading, as there isn't as much water as you might expect. The course is relatively short and straightforward, making it perfect for beginners or intermediate players. The only reason I would deduct half a star is the cost—$50 per person for 18 holes. While it's not overly expensive, I think for the course's length and simple layout, with minimal bunkers, it should be priced around $40. Nonetheless, I would definitely play here again.

I enjoyed my experience there. The front nine was a bit more open than I prefer, but the back nine was much more engaging, featuring forests and rolling terrain. The greens were beautifully maintained, with about half of them having plenty of undulation. The staff was fantastic. I can't really comment on the clubhouse since it’s undergoing renovations, but I’m sure it will be excellent once it's rebuilt. I would definitely play here again.
