West End Park Cafe

We arrived here for lunch on a Monday and fortunately we were just before the lunch time rush as it got pretty busy after a while. The waitress could have said hello as we entered but she just walked straight past us and ignored us. Not a good start. The lady behind the counter taking our order was much more pleasant. The food was good and so was the coffee. Help yourself jugs of water, glasses, and serviettes are available. The male staff member seemed to be spending more time going in and out talking to a lady sitting at a table rather than serving his customers. Free parking is available in the carpark behind the café. We would go back again.

A lovely little area to sit and watch the world go by. But great coffee helps enjoy such scene. Coffee was like warm and tasted burnt, eggs Benny was very nice, but I had to share it with a table of ants. Not saying it's not the place to be. But it wasn't today. Leaves a little to be desired.

Hubby ordered for me so I didn't know what I was getting -he chose well!!! Eggs Benedict t t with bacon on sourdough It was fabulous and my chai was hot and yummy too

Bloke there wouldn't toast me a sandwich, apparently there are certain times of the day when you can have your sandwich toasted and I wasn't there at one of those times..never mind plenty of cafes in west end

I come here for the juices. They are great and also the food looks good, though I haven't had it yet. What holds me back is that this place is always busy when I come here and even getting a juice might take some time. The staff seems to be more interested in having a chat than doing their work.
