Bandana never had good ribs, it was a struggle to get any meat off the bones and there wasn't any meat to begin with. Avoid Bandanas unless you like losing money

I eagerly anticipated stopping here after I had an amazing first time experience with Bandanas bbq in Columbia Missouri. I 'm not sure what happened but I wished I hadn 't stopped at this location. Stood in the lobby waiting to place a to-go order for almost 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. Apparently this was day 2 of a new cash register software upgrade and it wasn 't going well. That still was no reason not to acknowledge a customer for that long. Took a total of 50 minutes to get my food. 2 catfish dinners. I was missing sides and the catfish apparently had been sitting somewhere that whole time because they were lukewarm at best. We couldn 't even eat the dozen donut holes because they were way overcooked in burnt grease. Incredibly disappointing experience.

For the last several years I have religiously ordered the full order chicken nachos and usually have to take some home. My last visit I was highly disappointed in the portion size. My full order looked to be the half order or even smaller. I inquired about this and was confirmed that it was the correct size. For my birthday dinner, I left extremely disappointed and hungry. Not sure if this was a 1 off occasion but if this happens again, I'll be rethinking future visits for the price.

The food was okay, nothing spectacular. I'm really bummed that 6 pm on a Friday night (holiday weekend), they were sold out of burnt ends, ribs, and something else that we weren't interested in. The salad was better than I expected. Our server was attentive to drink levels. I do have a service dog who wears a vest with identification tags, and we had to wait for approval from management to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant. I don't know if we will be back to this establishment.

Family in town and needed a last minute order and you took care of us. Whatever you have been doing here the last few months, keep it up! This place knows how to do BBQ!
