The Iron Lantern - Wendell

This was a last attempt and tasty; I think given covid, they are learning just now how to order for a sitting amount, as proven when on a Friday.

We visited the iron lantern for the first time to the jubilee of my shiny. I have heard some good reviews of this place by several friends in the opposite.

We wanted to visit during their jubilee, but I did the day wrong, oops lol. we arrived at 1130 a.m. on a Sunday and we were greeted and welcomed.

I had previously given this restaurant 5 stars in the past. However, this time I paid $50 for two mediocre cheeseburgers that were cold and missing toppings. It's way too expensive for the quality of food we received. I would suggest avoiding this place until they improve their food and service.

I dined at this restaurant every day, and if I didn't, I would order takeout: loaded cheese with buffalo chicken and a cheeseburger with a side of queso. The food was the best I've ever had. Kevin is an amazing chef and Chris had exceptional customer service skills. I felt like I was at home and among friends, and they would even stay open late for me sometimes. When I moved away, I was sad to find they had closed before my last day in the city, but they reopened just for me and my wife for one last meal. Chris, if you're reading this, you should come to Texas in the woodland or earlyling area. We have your note and will frame it.
