My family has been going to this restaurant for 3 generations now, and while the interior has been modernised in recent years, food quality and service have remained as excellent as ever. The beef broth, available with various garnishes (pancake strips, liver dumplings, etc. , is very, very tasty as starter. For main course, local favourites like Schnitzel, Schweinsbraten (roast pork or Gulasch are available as well as seasonal delicacies like venison or lighter meals such as fish or pasta. A real treat for dessert are the varying homemade and locally sourced cakes (ice cream is available as well . Obermair’s Wirtshaus can also be recommended for a traditional Austrian “Jause” (cold dinner , for which you can choose from various traditional and extremely tasty cold dishes. In short, if you are looking for good Austrian food, this is the place to go! (Make sure to have a booking if you want a table on weekends – it’s very busy!
Excellent menu, friendly staff and environment, very fast serving, good playground for children, we will comeback with pleasure.
Nice place, good food, friendly people. Certainly we will visit this restaurant once again to try more dishes :)
