The New England House Seafood Sports

This place has a cozy bar atmosphere and really offers great value for your money! The food specials were fantastic, making it a perfect spot to catch a game on a Sunday. As for the service, I’d rate it a 4, while the food deserves a solid 5. The atmosphere, however, could use a bit of improvement, so I give it a 3. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch here, with the cost being around $20-30 per person.

We absolutely loved the seafood, relaxed atmosphere. But FROZE while eating. Asked the server to perhaps turn the heat up. She said she would like to but. The owner or manager probably will not. It’s (November and 36 degrees) Everyone was wearing their coats and miserable. The owner/manager was on site and bragging that “it’s Maine! You’re supposed to be cold!” What the heck!?!? If you go wear a winter coat! Sadly, We will not be back.

Visiting Maine for the first time, we were looking for a place to have some seafood. The parking lot was full, so we knew it must be a good restaurant and we were not disappointed! The clam chowder was delicious and the Monday seafood special was amazing! The tartar sauce is all their own and awesome! The food was so good that we had their Tuesday special for takeout the next day. The staff were friendly and service was great. This restaurant is highly recommended!!
