Richard's Seafood - Wells

Fantastic fried mussels! Only a few can truly appreciate them, but no one does it better. They are a local favorite, having been raised right here. I've enjoyed clams all over York County and beyond, but this place is one of the originals.

Best in York County. Richard's seafood is just the best in the area. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful. The staff is superstars. You won't find better in York County.

I've been coming to Maine forty years, sometimes several times a year, and unfortunately this was my first time at Richards Seafood. Anyway, not my last one!! This place is amazing! The food was fresh and delicious, the portions were more than we expected, and the price is half of what you find on rt. We're so glad we decided to stop.

It was a lovely place to dine. I felt sorry for the older woman who was taking all the orders by herself; she had no assistance, which made the service a bit slow. However, the food was tasty and reasonably priced, and I would definitely come back. The coffee, unfortunately, wasn’t good. The girl at the register was new and a bit nervous, but she was very friendly and patient – we all have to start somewhere. The ANNEX Oz Hummer Roll was definitely worth it!

The food here has consistently been good, and the relaxed atmosphere is always welcoming. Tonight was no different. With indoor dining now reopened, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. While it may not be fine dining, it offers great value and a friendly ambiance.
