The Featherston

The quality of the food is comparable to what you'd find at any other pub. The portions were somewhat small, leaving me still hungry afterward. However, the service and atmosphere were fantastic.

I absolutely loved the Yorkshire pudding and roast beef! I visited this restaurant with friends for a quick dinner and catch-up, but we ended up really enjoying our time there. The food was delicious, there was a wide selection of drinks, the staff was friendly, and the service was fast! We tried a jacket potato, Yorkshire pudding, steak, toasties (the sourdough toast was fantastic!), and cheesecake for dessert. I also had pumpkin soup and scones, and I loved everything. The location is great too, with ample parking nearby.

I visited this restaurant last Saturday with a group of friends. The food was decent, but I found it to be quite overpriced for what we received. My biggest issue, however, was with the manager—a tall man with gray hair. As we were about to leave after our meal, we overheard him yelling at a server, who appeared to be a teenager with short hair dyed blue. The server was on the verge of tears and kept apologizing, but the manager wouldn’t stop his tirade. It was incredibly unprofessional and disheartening to witness how employees are treated. I expected better. I’m very disappointed.
