Little Penang - Wellington

This restaurant is one of the top three places in Wellington. The roti and curry combo is very affordable and delicious. Make sure to try the vegetable fritters for the full experience.

One of the highlights of this restaurant, in addition to the delicious food, is the generous portion sizes. Unlike many other restaurants, the prices are not inflated. The food is scrumptious, and the servers are consistently courteous and accommodating.

The bak kut teh at this restaurant is amazing, just like the one I had in Kuala Lumpur. It's a pity that it's not a regular menu item. They also used to make Tau Fu Fa, which was the best with their homemade syrup. I wish they would bring that item back.

The rice for the nasi lemak was too moist and sticky. The curry kapitan and nyonya is good. Overall good food. Can consider coming back. Lobak is delicious though looks a bit burnt. Slightly over-rated at 4.8. But still definitely 4 and above stars.
