Il Piccolo - Wellington

Long wait, went here for a special occasion and waited over an hour for microwaved ‘pasta’ and a pizza that was horrible and had a piece of hair in it, when paying over 50 dollars for the food, my partner mentioned this and they didn’t even acknowledge this nor did they even discount the food this place is clearly struggling and I highly suggest you don’t eat here. It’s a health hazard and should be shut down immediately, I never review places on google but this is a special occasion. Anyone who rates the food 3+ stars are bots and they should be ashamed of themselves.

The bases of this pizza are bought from the supermarket it’s quite obvious and tastes so. It even has the small holes in them. The base was crispy and over done. Go to another pizza place or grab one from the supermarket is my best recommendation. I had been here a while back and was so much better I don’t know if it has changed hands as it is no longer BYO or licensed so that made me think.

Same as plenty of the other reviews I'm seeing. Worst food I've eaten in months, I've had better pasta sauces straight out of a jar.

Il piccolo is without doubt to eat my favourite place. the facility is enchanting, the staff is friendly, and eating is divine. I can't exaggerate how good this is. I have never been left unsatisfied by a meal here (although I do not think they have any vegan options) I have hesitated to publicly recommend il piccolo only because it is a small restaurant and I almost do not want others to know about it. it was an outstanding favorit among all I took there, and despite its size I never saw it too busy. they seem to make more business of takeout than Dine-in, so it always seems to be free tables and they are always happy to reserve a table for them when they call them.

Always tasty and taste as it is done with much love! they still accept our late night orders! thank you piccolo!
