Aubergine Cafe - Wellington

Wellington is a well-kept secret. The quality of the food is first-rate, and the presentation is fantastic, just like the ambiance. The owner provides exceptional service that is truly unmatched.

I visited this restaurant for dinner during a quiet week, which made for quick service and a very friendly waitress. We ordered the lamb and steak, accompanied by sautéed vegetables and red wine. The wine selection was impressive, and the food was good; however, we expected a bit more for the price point.

My partner and I live nearby and have had many wonderful meals at Aubergine. The food is always good and the service is excellent. We recently had a family Christmas lunch at Aubergine and were very impressed at how organised things were given that the restaurant was very full. There were ten of us but all our meals arrived in good time and everything was as delicious as when it is just the two of us eating there. I particularly enjoyed my starter of goats cheese and tomato crostin, and my duck main course is an old favourite that I never tire of. Having lunch prepared for us made our Christmas relaxed and easy and we plan to do the same thing next year. Also, $75 for a 3-course meal of such good quality is hard to beat

A dear friend and I have recently eaten in aubergine and taken a long tradition of an annual long, cozy lunch. it was a wonderful afternoon: classical music created a relaxed ambiente that made many talks and laugh. the food was delicious and beautifully presented. my scotchfilet was perfectly trimmed, tender and cooked for perfection; the potato gratin were super tasty and our beside dish of sweet fresh and crisp. the lamb of my friend with deer-fat was also lovely and the desserts hurt! fantastic. the service was friendly, but unobtrusive and we had a totally delightful experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

My man and I enjoyed a nice dinner here last week. great eating and attentive staff. in these difficult times we decided to dinate in a small restaurant and to support a small business. we were not disappointed!
