Aroy Thai Eatery Thorndon - Wellington

So delicious. we ordered the black pepper beef, the hawn fried rice and brewed spring rolls. the whole food was out within 5 minutes and was delicious. that was also a reasonable price. we went back the next night to try other dishes and were fantastic again. service was even faster!

Aroy thai never disappoints me. this in wellington is even better than the in sylvia park (auckland.) very good choice, highly recommended.

Best food in wellington hands down, we've been coming here regularly for a long time. the lady who served me tonight on 31/5 was amazing, so helpful and friendly. You made mine honest at night. not sure of their name, but many thanks again! people rock x

Great beef noodle soup, thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a lot of meat in the soup and it was a good portion to fill you up. They also provide spices for you to choose from to the soup if you need to.

Closest bathroom is at New World supermarket down the street This is a restaurant where you place your order and pay for your meal at the counter before seating yourself. The restaurant is relatively small though tables and seating area spaced comfortably, not crammed in. Meals brought out as they are ready and do not come out all together but the wait time between each dish being served is very short. I ordered the beef massaman curry which was very flavoursome. I usually don't finish all the rice or all the liquid but in this instance, I did. I might have been hungrier than usual after a gym session though. Also, it's the first massaman curry I've had in which the beef is sliced instead of cubed. Odd and a little tough but not unpleasant. My colleagues ordered rice dishes and the serving portions looked larger than what you'd usually get at Thai restaurant in Melbourne for the same AUD price conversion
