Travelin' Smoke Bbq - Wellington

Everything on this menu is amazing. The service is great. And it is always immaculately clean.

I wish I lived near in Wellington, I'd definitely be a reoccurring customer. Friendly, welcoming, service. Hot, fresh, delicious, even after I had to drive to my hotel.

Big City Blues drive south on I 35 to Wellington, Ks. The Lady finds a great place to eat: Travelin Smoke BBQ, simply amazing!!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Wall to wall history rich displaying community pride. A vast menu with palette pleasing selections. The Lady chooses pulled BBQ pork, Coleslaw, French Fries, and Peach Cobbler as the grand finale... OMG! The pulled pork juicy and tender with a delightful hickory smoked sauce; the colesaw chopped not grated, the FF are sliced potatoe chips fried crispy to perfection. Peach Cobbler!! Just the right amount of sweet balanced with flaky pie crust; Fantastic!

This hidden gem is well worth the try if you ever find yourself traveling into or nearby Wellington, Kansas. We did takeout while traveling through because we were traveling with our dog. The staff was amicable and helpful with our options. We got the three meat platter and split it between the two of us. It consisted of Pork, Turkey, and some Ribs (three bones). We also added green beans and broccoli salad to our sides. We broke down and got their peach cobbler, and that was an exciting surprise within itself. Everything was exceptionally good with lots of smoke flavor with enough for a second meal. We would not hesitate to stop back in on our way through again in the near future.

Best bbq in town. Nice to set down and have a huge I mean huge stuffed back potato over a nice cold beer. Kid friendly, adding on to there location is nice to. Very friendly atmosphere
