Stonewood Grill Tavern - Wellington

After checking the menu online this morning, we made reservations for brunch at 12:30. When we arrived and received the menus, we inquired about the brunch options and were informed that the brunch menu was no longer available. We were surprised as the brunch menu was still listed on the Stonewood website. Disappointed, we decided to look at the lunch menu instead and were excited to try the new brisket burger. However, when we tried to order the burger, we were informed that they were out of burgers. This was surprising as there was no mention of this on the menu. The server explained that the kitchen was not fully prepared for lunch service yet, even though it was already 12:40. Despite the great service we had received in the past and our satisfaction with previous family meals, this visit was very disappointing. It felt like a lack of proper management as there was incorrect advertisement of the brunch and burger options, and a lack of preparation for lunch service. We didn't see a manager during our visit, which may have contributed to the issues we experienced. Overall, it was not the experience we had expected.

With my wife and we both had a starter and drink. the beer margarita was fantastic and the garnel were good. main course, we had steaks. they took a little longer than we would have liked, but they were cooked to perfection. it was our first time, but not the last.

Unfortunately, two of the four meals were cooked over. After we waited almost an hour for the food, we closed our mouth. they were out of one side and did not ask what I would rather have, but they just put something different at his place. the waitress was very apologetic and said the manager would come by twice and she never did.

Four people at the table, all ordered different dishes, all raved about their dinners. Welcomed from the minute we arrived till we finished. Will keep Stonewood Grill on my list of favorites.

Food is very good. Service was a little slow. Value for the money.
