Contribuiți la feedbackOn the way home from Wichita we decided to go through some of the smaller cities along the way. We stopped at this nostalgic diner and had a wonderful food and culinary experience! I enjoyed the breakfast served all day, and my husband had chicken fried steak that he rated 8 out of 10... that's high for him! He also said the engraving was extraordinary! If we're ever like this, this will be one of our food stops!
Classic diner tea, in a classic diner. It wasn't going down, everything looked like new, even though it felt like the 50s inside. The staff was great, attentive and helpful, and our midway trip was 10 o'clock dinner, burgers for the children and breakfast food for my wife and I, was the highlight of our travel day. We'd stop here again. 24 hours, so makes a good late night option.
Excellent! I have no complaints about everything. Food was good and price fair for the portions. The waiting staff was amazing, our waitress was an explosion and really gave the whole experience a bright light!
It's pretty messy because they're busy. The grill wasn't as clean as I wanted. But... the food was excellent! The service was excellent! Just what we needed after a long day on the street. Get off your high horse and go to eat here. I had the chicken fried chicken and it was probably the best ever. We'll be back.
All diners are awesome! Just saying. After officiating a swim meet in Wellington, we came upon Penny's. I love LOVE diners. I always try to get what the cook recommends, but sometimes, the Philly Cheesesteak just pushes its way to my brain. Worth it! I love watching the cook and the waitress (I assume Penny) do their thing. Its a carefully choreographed dance where minimal verbal communication and body movements become one. Obviously a very busy location, but it is worth your time and hard earned cash to come here. This is NOT fast food. This is a meal prepared in front of you down home good cooking! ENJOY!
