Kimono's - Welland

The food isn't what it used to be. Apparently they changed owners? I'm very disappointed in the quality of everything here at Kimonos.

Everybody in Welland knows Kimono's and has eaten their Decor is nothing fancy and hasn't been updated since the 70's Customer service and quality of food has definitely improved with new ownership It's for sure not the Mandarin, but then again the price reflects it Food is always fresh and hot and worth the money you pay for it

We went to Kimonos after reading many reviews of varied opinions. I was attracted to the price that was stated by people as we each had a $20 bill with us and needed to stay within that budget. I was stunned to see that the price had been covered over on the door and read $17.99. The atmosphere is nice, music would have made it nicer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady who sat us made sure to seat us close to the buffet, noting the person with me who had a walker. That was a nice touch. The food was fresh and hot. There is great variety. My only concern, after price, was when it came to dessert. There were no names on any of the desserts and they did not offer low sugar or no sugar items. The staff could not answer my questions with regards to this matter. At lunch prices, monday thru friday it is worth the price. I will not return at weekend prices however.

The food is terrible here. They changed owners and the quality of food has gone downhill big time. There are many other restaurant options in Welland so don't waste your money here.

Went with a group of children, so a buffet was perfect to make everyone happy. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Food was usual North American Chinese offerings. Supper for 5 of us was about $100.
