The place is cute, chalk board tables, piano, but the one worker had a bad attitude and was very rude. When my family walked in we were the only ones there to order, the only other customers were leaving. Before I ordered anything I asked if the ice cream had egg in it(my son had a severe egg allergy) she started looking through a bunch of binders and I 'm standing waiting for an answer when more customers walked in and she then completely ignored me and started serving everyone else. She ignored for 5 more minutes to where I had my husband ask another worker. That worker didn 't have an answer so she asked the worker I was being ignored by who looked at my husband and said there 's no egg . I could 've gotten that answer 10 minutes ago. Frustrated by the lack of customer service. If you work with ice cream and candy maybe have a sweeter attitude? So sour, I would 've left and never bought anything if it wasn 't my son 's birthday. Wish there were vegan options. However, I love the wide selection of flavors, items, and candies! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant didn't resemble the picture on the menu and there was whipped cream on top in the photo, but it was a mess when they brought it out. The staff had a rough attitude too. Overall, it was a disappointing choice for date night. The ice cream was better than average, but the presentation was poor.

Good food. Sweets store. Has kinda small old style store of shelf candies. Also has ice cream bar. Homemade waffle cones. Really good ice cream. Has public bathroom. Unique setting area that's comfortable. Right beside small park.

I stopped by this place on my way back from Jim Thorpe, drawn in by the tempting photos of ice cream. My first impression was a bit strange as there was no one else in the restaurant except for a teenager who appeared to be playing music from "Requiem for a Dream" on a loud piano - not your typical playlist for an ice cream shop. I inquired about espresso with the person at the counter, and was told that they did in fact have it. I asked for a shot of espresso on top of two scoops of chocolate ice cream. What I received was more like iced coffee poured over what seemed like curdled chocolate milk. After two bites, I couldn't stomach the strange flavor and consistency. It turned out that they don't actually serve espresso, but rather espresso-flavored cold brew. This distinction should have been made more clear. I'm not sure if it was just bad timing on a Sunday in September or something else, but I definitely won't be returning. The overall experience gave off some strange vibes and left me feeling unsatisfied.
