Foehrewaeldli - Weiningen (ZH)

Context: we were looking for Balkan repair and our Serbian friend recommended this restaurant for Easter Sunday. food chf for two) we had a part of cevapcici, pjeskavica, a side of brot and ajvar as well as two salads and two drinks for this...price that was ok, I thought it was very salty, but the quality was there. I thought the portions were reasonable, but not gigantic, as they would expect on a balkan. STAFF/SERVICE Serbian speaking coworkers, everyone seems to know everyone in this restaurant that is really nice, especially when they speak an ex-Yugoslavia. our waiter was very nice, but it also seems as if they were underused, as we waited a very long time for our food and there was only really waiter. I guess it's part of the balkan experience. ATMOSPHERE/LOBEN great location, they need a car to get to this restaurant. they have free parking and this is north west of zurich. the restaurant itself is huge and has a really great place for children to play, a large parking space and it seems that they sometimes lead events. conclusion: it was good that I did not recommend nor return.

Swiss, Serbian and international excellent cuisine! Do not miss it and enjoy the hospitality!

Das Essen war heute wieder sehr gut. Wir sind 5-6x im Jahr hier und können es nur weiter empfehlen. Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und Herzlich. P.S. die Karadjordjeva Schnitzel muss man einfach hier gegessen haben!

Das Restaurant ist leider nicht mehr so heimelig wie in Regensdorf. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut und das Personal stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann es mit bestem Gewissen nur weiter empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen, immer frische Zutaten und Chef grüsst bei jedem Besuch persönlich mit Handschlag und kurzem Schwatz. Leider Leider Leider ist es nicht mehr so heimelig wie damals in Altburg bei Regensdorf.
