Contribuiți la feedbackWanting to make this day a special one we dined in this restaurant. It was an excellent choice, not only because of the food, but also the quiet and elegant atmosphere, and the impeccable but personal service of the personnel.
On July 17 we went to dinner at the Dorint Hotel restaurant in Weimar called the ‘Bettina von Arnim’. At first we wanted to sit outside, but we couldn’t. It was about to rain. The waiter complained about the weather, especially how it was raining and cool. He said this year they were being deprived of their summer. We ordered Thuringian specialties to celebrate the region we were in. Gary ordered a Thuringian plate that looked like meats and cheeses on bread all laid out on a board. I took a photo. We all had fancy salads with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and radish. The dessert looked very artistic and decorative. I took another photo. The price was quite expensive --- 120 euros for three without any alcoholic beverages.
We dinned at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Dorint Am Goetheparke Hotel in Weimar. On both occasions our food was superb in taste and presentation. The dessert chose was so wonderful that I had it both evenings. As my husband has many allergies , the chef was able to cater for him and this was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
